Can One Take Some Of A Student Loan To Pay Off Some Credit Card Debt?

After one job after another, I decided it’s time to go to college. I’m certainly tired of working at various low income jobs. The problem I am facing is, in order for me to go to school FT, which I plan on doing. I need to consolidate my credit debt, which has been built up over the past few years of constant unemployment. If it possible to just pay it off with some of the remaining money from the student loans, and claim that I needed to get out of the way in order focus on school FT? Thanks in
